Jeffrey Walker is a 35-year veteran of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, whose previous deputy assignments included the Hall of Justice Jail, Lakewood Station, and Special Victims Bureau’s Child Abuse Detail. He promoted to sergeant in 2006 and has worked at Men’s Central Jail, Temple Station, Major Crimes Bureau – Vice Detail, and his current assignment as a founding member of the Los Angeles Regional Human Trafficking Taskforce.
He served on the original working committee for the Los Angeles County First Responder Protocol, which has become a national model on how other cities and counties will respond to commercially sexually exploited children.
Sgt. Walker served as the lead coordinator for the annual “Operation Reclaim Rebuild”, a statewide enforcement surge operation targeting traffickers and sex buyers.
