Tyson McCoy is a career prosecutor who has spent the bulk of his career prosecuting serious and violent cases in California.
He has trained hundreds of professionals on the topic of human trafficking, including police, doctors, nurses, social workers, military investigators, prosecutors, school administrators, and others.
Most recently, he worked with California State Senator Shannon Grove in drafting California Senate Bill 14, which made child sex trafficking a serious crime and “strike” offense under California’s Three Strikes Law. As a result, child sex traffickers are now classified as serious criminal offenders and subject to increased criminal penalties under California law.
