Thank you for visiting the California Human Trafficking Investigators and Prosecutors Association webpage.  Our Association is dedicated to combatting the crime of human trafficking by identifying victims to help them on the pathway to freedom, and bring their traffickers to justice, and raising public awareness of this important issue.

To Law Enforcement Officers and Prosecutors:

If you are a law enforcement officer or prosecutor, we hope you will join us in this fight to end human trafficking, and become a member of our association.

Officers, prosecutors, and those who work in an investigative capacity for a law enforcement government agency, from the newest patrol officer and prosecutor, to experienced human trafficking investigators and prosecutors, are all welcome to join. You will find a community of law enforcement officers and prosecutors dedicated to helping each other find victims and bringing their traffickers to justice. Whether you work for a large or small law enforcement agency, we will endeavor to provide the tools and training necessary to help you. If you are a newer officer or prosecutor and are interested in developing an expertise in human trafficking investigations, we can provide the training you need to do so.

Together we will fight the plague of human trafficking, until all are free.

To Those Not in Law Enforcement Who Wish to Support Us:

Our Association is dependent on donations to survive. The Board of Directors is comprised of experienced human trafficking investigators and prosecutors from across California who donate their time to run the organization so that all donations go to trainings, collaboration, and efforts that directly result in victims being found, traffickers being brought to justice, and increased expert training on human trafficking.

Our Association members consist of the men and women in the fight, who are legally authorized to find traffickers and bring them to justice.  There is a misconception that officers and prosecutors have the resources they need to combat this crime. That reality couldn’t be further from the truth. CalTIPA exists to change that. Your donation will have a direct impact in the fight against trafficking by providing the funding to provide human trafficking trainings to officers and prosecutors from across California and throughout the United States. Your donation will also allow for better collaboration among officers and prosecutors to work together to fight this crime. Our trainings focus on who patrol the streets, investigate these crimes, and those who prosecute these cases in the court. These are the first responders and boots on the ground in the fight against trafficking.  We also teach officers and prosecutors how to better help victims on their pathway to freedom. We are victim-centered and justice-focused. Your generous donation will allow us to equip those in the fight against trafficking with the training, tools, and collaboration needed to combat this horrific crime.
